Deductions (chargebacks) can represent a significant part of a company's receivables in terms of dollars and effort. They represent problems that must be identified, analyzed and resolved in a minimal amount of time. The DEDUCTOR provides the tools to help monitor and control this thorny and expensive problem. Reason codes can be created for each defined chargeback. Automatically produces customized customer notification letters for each chargeback created or reclassified. May be reclassified at a later date once investigation of unknown deduction is complete. Extensive management reporting of chargebacks helps to identify problem areas. Aged trial balance of chargebacks can be produced by customer, collector, salesman, region, and company/division. Customers can be ranked by open chargeback dollars. Period by period chargeback statistics are maintained by customer.
